9-Day Assam & Meghalaya Itinerary
Complete route covering Guwahati, Kaziranga, Shillong, and Cherrapunji.
Arrive at Guwahati Airport (GAU) or Railway Station. Warm welcome by Swastik Tours representative and transfer to Hotel Nirvana Guwahati. Evening sunset boat cruise or leisure along the banks of the sacred Brahmaputra River.
Morning visit to Kamakhya Devi Temple. Scenic drive (approx. 4.5 hours) through lush tea plantations to Kaziranga. Check in to Dhanshree Resort. Evening cultural dance show showcasing traditional Bihu performances.
Early morning elephant safari in Central Range followed by afternoon open jeep safari in Western Range. Spot the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, wild water buffaloes, swamp deer, and diverse bird species. Overnight at Dhanshree Resort.
Drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Enroute stop at the breathtaking Umiam Lake (Barapani) for watersports and photography. Check in to Nirvana Orchid Shillong. Evening walk around Police Bazar.
